This is a very special bottling of The Glenlivet, bottled by Signatory in honor of their 30th anniversary. Distilled in 1981, this vintage expression was aged in hogshead casks and finished for 18 months in sherry butts. It comes in at 47.5% ABV and stands as one of the finest Glenlivet expressions available.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Delicate fruits, lots of caramel, cherry, and fig newtons.
Palate: Figs, a cake-y bread (or bready cake), plums, and rich demerara.
